Seriously, the absence pained me more than any one of my nine readers. But let's re-open for business by posting this link to Tony Snow taking Helen Thomas apart this morning in the White House press room. I've been waiting years to see someone basically shred up one of her stupid questions, and he did it perfectly. Not only that, but the end of the clip, where he briefly discusses his battle with cancer last year... let's just say this may be the best job decision the President made since he appointed John Roberts (Alito doesn't count because it was originally Harriet Myers). The President has a long way to go to win back conservative support, particularly on immigration. But Tony Snow's a great spokesman.
